Size Guide

We've heard that 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong-size bra. Your best look starts with what's underneath. Let's start with your lingerie.

Tip: Wear your best fitting unpadded bra when measuring.

1. Determine band size

Using a measuring tape, take a snug measurement around the rib cage, directly under the bust. Take the tape and keep it parallel to the floor. Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch, either up or down.

  • If the measurement is even, add 4 inches.
  • If the measurement is an odd number, add 5 inches to determine the band size.
    Example: Band = 32" + 4" = 36"

Now you have your band size!

2. Determine cup size

Keep arms relaxed at your sides. Using a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of the bust (do not stretch tape tightly and keep it straight). Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch, either up or down.

The difference between this measurement and the band size will determine the cup size. Example: Bust size 39" – Band size 36" = 3" (Cup size C)

Tip: When adjusting sizes… if the band increases, go down a cup size and if the cup size increases, go down a band size.

Tip: Your bra should fit firmly on the last hook when new.

Tip: Many department stores offer fit events or specialists to help you.

Keep in mind that proper measurement is just the starting point. Various styles may fit you differently, so try on each style to assure a proper hit.

3. Calculate size

Follow these simple steps to preserve the shape and extend the wear of your lingerie.

  1. Always check the label in your lingerie for the first step in proper care.
  2. Hand wash in cold water with mild soap or detergent. Wash colors separately. When needed, use only non chlorine bleach.
  3. If you are washing multiple bras at once, we recommend that you fasten clasps to avoid snagging any of the fabric.
  4. Line dry. (No wringing!)

Tip: Give your bra a rest. Avoid wearing the same bra two days in a row. This gives your bra time to resume its shape and elasticity.
